Cataloging books
Yesterday I photographed about 150 books and typed their data into a database. So nobody can tell me that I don't work for my money!
These will be the books that I don't need anymore, so I try to sell them to a second-hand bookshop or if I can't sell them together then I'll put them on some auction site. I found some interesting ones though that I won't sell, like the famous novel on what the movie is based - the Bourne Identity from Robert Ludlum.
The books are all from the '80-s, but they are mostly in perfect condition, so I'll put a 2 USD price tag on each. We will see if it works! Stay tuned!

First payment
My first payment in this campaign has just arrived!
I wrote 2 reviews paid by ReviewMe on some of my other blogs and they pay on the first day of the month. I receive the money on Paypal, and because our currency is now pretty badly rated to USD (dollar is more expensive than usual), I instantly withdrawed the sum of 25.05 USD to my bank account.
The transaction took 3 days and about a 1 dollar fee, but it's finally here. I am looking forward to have some more reviews through this site.
In my freetime I applicated this new design on the blog - but it still needs to be fixed in some places. Please feel free to share your ideas in the comment section or in email, found in the contact menu!
Planning
The idea of making money came quickly, but the actual work must be planned carefully. First of all, I try to summarize the ways I will try to collect some extra cash, then how I will track my incomes and other web2.0 ways to manage my advance.
First, ideas on getting money:
- Sell some unnecessary things on eBay or on other online auction site (because I live in Hungary, therefore some local sites may come handy, like vatera.hu or teszvesz.hu)
- Use this blog to get advertisement revenue - Google AdWords, paid reviews (for example ReviewMe)
- Spend less and regularly put a small amount of money in a detached account when I get paid.
- Do some one-time jobs, like repairing PC-s, make lightweight webpages
- Place donation buttons (like Paypal), maybe somebody will appreciate my fight
- Other ways that I haven't though of yet
Then the ways of tracking my progress:
- Create a Moneytrackin account, and accurately upload my transactions
- Handle the money separately, like on a new bank account, or in a secret stash.
- Blogging
- Choose a target sum or gadget, and focus on it.
If you have some other tips for me, then please share it!
Introduction
First of all (as you might guess) this blog's purpose is to make money.
I will try not to focus on my goals with the money, but the amount of money raised. You may ask why? Well, I haven't figured out why, but I'm working on it.
So instead my main objective will be to show the ways ofhow I'm trying to get money quickly using (obviously) only legal ways and with minimum effort.
Feel free to try my methods, and I will be happy for any kind of feedbacks!
